HOPE Ministries
was founded in June 1993 by Dillard Funerals and Cremations in Pickens,
South Carolina, as a grief therapy support system to families served by
our funeral home. It soon became evident to Ginger Dillard Selby, then
President of the funeral home, that grief support services were needed
county wide.
Reverend Lewis B. Edwards was named Executive Director of HOPE Ministries
and serves as facilitator and grief counsultant. Reverend Edwards has
worked closely with the Pickens County School District offereing
support groups in the schools.
Services offered:
Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday each month at 7 PM
in the Executive Conference Room, Hillcrest Building, Upper Level at
2410 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens. All are welcome to attend. There
is NO COST to attendees, this service is provided by Dillard Funerals
and Cremations.
